What is Prompy?

Prompy is a curated library of AI prompts for image, video, and text. You browse looks, copy a recipe, and paste it into the model you already use. An editor reviews every submission before it gets a public URL.

Do you generate images or videos for me?

No. Prompy is not a generator. There is no button that calls Midjourney, Flux, Veo, or ChatGPT on our servers. We host the recipe and a reference cover. You run the model.

Are prompts free to copy?

Yes. Browsing and copying recipes is free. Copy prompt copies the text and adds one to the prompt’s copy count so creators can see that the recipe was used.

Who owns what I generate?

We do not claim the images, clips, or text you generate from a recipe. Those outputs are between you and the AI platform’s terms. The prompt text on Prompy stays on the site under the licence in our Terms.

How do I publish a prompt?

Create an account, open Create, upload a cover, paste the recipe, and pick at least one platform. The prompt waits in your dashboard until an editor approves it and assigns a category.

Why was my prompt rejected?

Common reasons: the recipe is too thin, the cover does not match, the title is only keywords, the work appears copied from another library, or it breaks identity-safe rules. The rejection note should say which. You can rewrite and submit again.

What does identity-safe mean?

Describe a look, not a private person’s face. No sexual content involving anyone 17 or under. We prefer original cinematic direction over “make it exactly this celebrity.” Read the identity-safe article on the blog for examples.

Is Hot the same as Trending?

No. Homepage, Hot, Trending, and Explore are four independent editor flags. Nothing is auto-ranked from traffic. A prompt can sit in all four, or only in Explore.

Do you show ads?

The library is free to browse. When the operator enables Google AdSense, ads may appear on public pages to pay for hosting. Ads do not appear on login, register, Create, dashboard, or Admin. See Privacy, Cookies, and the ads article on the blog.

Do you sell my data?

No. We do not sell names, emails, prompts, or messages. Google may process data for ads as described in our Privacy Policy and Google’s own policies. You can manage cookies in the banner and in your browser.

How do I report a prompt or request a takedown?

Use the Contact page and include the URL. We can unpublish a prompt the same day if it is stolen, unsafe, or posted in error.

Can I use a recipe commercially?

The recipe on Prompy is a starting point. Whether you may sell the image or video you generate depends on the AI platform you use and on third-party rights in the result. We do not guarantee commercial fitness. Read the Disclaimer and Terms.
